Will Valadez Earns SPHR Credential, Advancing Strategic HR Leadership at Corporate Central

MILWAUKEE, WI – January 26, 2026 – Corporate Central is proud to recognize Will Valadez for earning the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, a prestigious credential administered by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) that signifies advanced expertise in strategic and policy-focused human resources leadership.

The SPHR certification is awarded to senior-level HR professionals who demonstrate mastery in aligning human resources strategy with organizational goals, driving workforce planning, and supporting business performance through effective leadership and decision-making.

Will joined Corporate Central in June 2018 as an Accounting Assistant and quickly expanded his responsibilities, serving as Accounting and Compensation Coordinator in 2019. After earning his degree in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, he was promoted to Human Resources Generalist, and later to Human Resources Business Partner in January 2023. In his current role, Will partners with business leaders to enhance company culture and the employee experience through strategic planning, competitive business strategy, and proactive talent initiatives. He also plays a key role in aligning HR functions with organizational objectives, while overseeing the organization’s human resources information system (HRIS).

“I’m grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received from my colleagues and leadership throughout this process,” said Valadez. “Earning the SPHR has strengthened my ability to think strategically about HR’s role in the organization, and I’m excited to continue applying that knowledge to support our employees and business partners.”

Will brings valuable experience from his background in natural-person credit unions, where he gained a strong appreciation for the credit union movement and the importance of creating member loyalty—both internally and externally.
