SaaS industry veteran to build revenue and market share, lead Sales and Marketing teams
(Des Moines, Iowa – February 17, 2023) – Governance, risk and compliance (GRC) technology firm ViClarity has hired Ash Omar as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. With more than 15 years of experience selling SaaS technologies to financial institutions and insurance companies, Omar will oversee ViClarity’s business development strategy and manage the company’s U.S. sales and marketing teams as they drive revenue growth.
Prior to joining ViClarity, Omar served as Head of Growth for Cognizant, an American multinational information technology services and consulting organization. He directed sales operations to increase corporate accounts, increase revenue, drive brand recognition, and promote DEI.
Omar’s experience includes several industry leadership positions in SaaS technology organizations including Cognizant, ISGN, Mortgageflex System and Wipro Technologies. In those positions, he helped drive business plans that maximized revenue, market share, and unit growth in the U.S. and abroad. His primary roles related to selling technologies and managing sales teams, along with management of go-to-market activities, product design and implementation, and transformational process re-engineering.
Throughout his career, Omar has developed a wealth of knowledge in selling and developing SaaS technologies. He has appeared at several industry events and roundtables as a speaker and panelist. With his industry expertise, Omar will help lead ViClarity into new industries to create wider brand recognition and build revenue and market share.

Outside of work, Omar has served his community as a youth soccer coach. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Phoenix in Arizona.
