Check to be Presented on Friday, August 2, at Cohen Children’s Medical Center to Hospital’s Executive Director as well as the Chief of Pediatric Surgery and Star of Netflix’s ‘Emergency NYC’
On Friday, August 2, a $340,000 check will be presented to Cohen Children’s Medical Center by President and CEO of Teachers Federal Credit Union, Brad Calhoun. The donation will be accepted on behalf of the hospital by Carolyn Quinn, Executive Director of Cohen Children’s Medical Center, and Dr. Jose Prince, Chief of Pediatric Surgery, Cohen Children's Medical Center and star of the Netflix show ‘Emergency NYC.' The funds will help support Cohen Children’s Medical Center's greatest needs, including life-saving medical equipment, clinical care, and research.
US News and World Report rated Cohen Children’s Medical Center as the number one children’s hospital on Long Island for 2023-2024. The hospital serves over 1.8 million children in New York City boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk counties, and beyond.

The donation is part of the ongoing partnership between Teachers Federal Credit Union and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds and increasing awareness for local children’s hospitals nationwide.
