The move forms part of Silverflow’s wider international growth strategy, with North America a key market for expansion.

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, 15 October 2026 – Silverflow, the cloud-native payments processor, is stepping up its US expansion as it looks to grow its presence across North America and other international markets. As part of this push, the company has appointed Jay Diamonon as VP of Sales, strengthening its commercial leadership as it looks to build customer relationships and drive further growth in the region.

Jay brings two decades of experience across payments and financial services. He joins Silverflow as the company builds on the momentum of its $40 million Series B funding round, announced in March 2026, which is supporting its international expansion, product development and plans to grow its global workforce by more than 50%.

Before joining Silverflow, Jay held sales leadership roles at Adyen and BBVA. Earlier in his career, he led financial planning and analysis teams at Continental Airlines and Air Liquide. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia.

Led by Picus Capital, the funding round also included Rabo Investments – Corporate Venturing and existing investors Inkef, GPT, Crane and Coatue. North America is a key focus for the investment, alongside further expansion in Asia-Pacific.

Silverflow aims to build on its existing presence in North America and expand its reach among acquiring banks, payment companies and commerce platforms. These plans form part of the company’s wider ambition to grow internationally as demand for modern payment processing infrastructure continues to develop. With $40 billion processed volume annually and 2 million transactions a day, Silverflow is well on the way to achieving their goals.

Anne Willem de Vries, CEO and Co-founder of Silverflow, said: “The US payments market is highly competitive and businesses need to be able to adapt quickly as customer expectations and the way people pay continue to evolve. But that becomes difficult when you’re working with processing infrastructure that wasn’t built for the pace or complexity of modern payments.”

“There’s a real opportunity to give payment companies more flexibility, better access to their data and the ability to scale without adding unnecessary complexity. That’s where we see a strong fit for Silverflow. We’ve built momentum across our business, and now we want to bring that approach to more customers in North America. Bringing Jay on board is an important step in making that happen.”

Jay Diamonon, VP of Sales at Silverflow, said:

“What attracted me to Silverflow is the opportunity to help change how payment processing works for the businesses that rely on it every day. Payments companies need technology that can keep pace with their ambitions, rather than hold them back. I’m looking forward to working with customers across North America, understanding where they want to go and helping them get there.”

Silverflow’s expansion follows substantial growth in transaction volumes. In March 2026, the company reported processing almost 1.75 million transactions per day, up from around 180 per day two and a half years earlier. Its latest growth plans build on this progress, with investment in its team, technology and international operations.
