NASHVILLE, TN (May 20, 2025) — My First Nest Egg, an award-winning financial education company for kids and families, is excited to announce its partnership with St. Thomas Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative serving the Nashville community since 1959. Known for being “Big Enough to Serve You, Small Enough to Know You,” St. Thomas Credit Union is bringing engaging, expert-created financial education materials to children and families across their community.

This new partnership provides families with access to fun and interactive financial education tools—including videos, articles, printables, and seasonal activities—to help children learn how to earn, save, spend, and give.

“St. Thomas Credit Union has chosen to partner with My First Nest Egg because we are committed to help families achieve financial wellness,” said William Dunn, President of St. Thomas Credit Union. “Through our partnership, children will have a fun and exciting way to learn about money.”

My First Nest Egg’s tools are specifically designed to help parents and caregivers introduce important financial concepts at home through age-appropriate, research-backed materials. These turnkey resources help credit unions like St. Thomas support their youngest members while deepening relationships with families across the community.

“We know that building good money habits starts early, and our goal is to make financial education fun and accessible for families,” said My First Nest Egg CEO, Nicolle Hood. “St. Thomas Credit Union is taking a meaningful step in helping the next generation grow up confident, capable, and financially empowered.”

In celebration of summer break, St. Thomas Credit Union will also be offering My First Nest Egg’s Summer CEO activity to their young members. This engaging, hands-on booklet helps kids start their own mini-businesses—teaching key money lessons through goal setting, budgeting, and tracking profits. With business card templates, flyer design prompts, and a certificate of achievement, Summer CEO encourages financial confidence and creativity. Materials will be available online and in-branch, making it easy for families to spark meaningful conversations about money during the summer months.
