Multimodal Wins “Best of Show” at IgniteFI’s Latest Firecracker Fintech Showcase

Seven high-impact demos deliver actionable solutions for credit unions nationwide

Madison, WI – January 8, 2025 -- IgniteFI’s Firecracker Fintech Showcase returned with another fast-moving, demo-driven event that brought together seven Fintech innovators and 28 decision-makers from 38 credit unions across the country.

Each Fintech had just seven minutes to demo, followed by live Q&A—offering a direct look at solutions designed to solve everyday credit union challenges across operations, compliance, lending, and member engagement.

Multimodal was awarded “Best of Show” for its Agentic AI platform, which helps credit unions streamline workflows like onboarding, underwriting, and member service using adaptive, conversational AI.

Credit union participants represented a broad spectrum—from $216 million to over $29 billion in assets—showing strong demand for practical, ready-to-deploy Fintech solutions.

The presenting Fintechs included:

· IDIQ – CreditBuilderIQ for credit health monitoring

· Unthinkable Voices – CU Voices video storytelling platform

· Multimodal – Agentic workflow automation

· Artificial Intelligence Risk – AI-powered cybersecurity and compliance

· FINNECT – Fintech–credit union matchmaking marketplace

Attendees praised the event’s efficient, engaging format, with many noting plans to revisit the demos and share them with colleagues.

As “Best of Show,” Multimodal will be featured at the next Firecracker Showcase—offering credit unions a closer look at how its AI platform supports scalable, efficient growth.

Looking ahead, the next Firecracker Fintech Showcase is scheduled for February 11, 2026, from 11–12:30 CT and will spotlight fintechs that have products in market to improve people’s lives and financial wellness in partnership with CAFÉ (Center for Accelerating Financial Equity).
