EAST LANSING, Mich. — MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) recently announced several promotions.

Renee Munoz, Small-Business LenderMunoz began her career with MSUFCU as a Commercial Lending Assistant, bringing more than 10 years of banking experience from previous roles. She has built on that experience to become a successful Small-Business Lender, developing deep expertise in commercial lending and financial services. Throughout her career, Munoz has also demonstrated a passion for supporting others through training and mentoring new employees.

“I’m so excited to dive in," Munoz said. “I’m eager to get to know both our new and current members and hit the ground running to support them with all of their small-business needs!”

M’Lisa Clark, Home Loan Origination ManagerClark joined the Credit Union in 1998 and spent the first nine years of her career serving in the branch network and various areas throughout the organization. During that time, she built a strong foundation of member service, operational knowledge, and organizational expertise that ultimately led her to what she considers her forever home in the Home Loan Department. Clark’s leadership abilities and mortgage knowledge later earned her a promotion as the department’s first Origination Lead. The experience and leadership skills she developed in that role prepared her for this new position as Home Loan Origination Manager, where she leads and supports the Home Loan Processing team.

“Helping our members achieve their homeownership goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career,” Clark said. “I am honored by the trust they place in us and take great pride in supporting them through one of the most significant financial commitments they will make. Having the opportunity to extend that same passion, support, and dedication to my team, while empowering them to deliver exceptional service to our members, is something I will always treasure.”

Heather Miller, Home Loan Operations ManagerSince joining the Credit Union in 2010, Miller has devoted much of her career to mortgage lending, where she developed a deep appreciation for the positive impact homeownership can have on members and communities. She has held roles in processing, closing, and underwriting before transitioning into leadership. This diverse background has given Miller a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage lending process and a unique perspective on the needs of both employees and members.

“I feel incredibly lucky to work in a place that values both the member experience and its employees,” Miller said. “This work fuels my passion, but it’s the people who truly make me want to be here. I’m excited to see the continued growth of the Credit Union, while also having the opportunity to support, develop, and celebrate the growth of the individuals I’m fortunate enough to lead.”

Tony Hansen, Digital Experience and Content ManagerHansen joined MSUFCU in October 2025, bringing extensive experience in digital communications, marketing, and social media to the team. Throughout his career, he has helped competitive brands strengthen their presence and deepen engagement in the digital space. In this new role, Hansen will help guide the Credit Union’s next chapter of growth by keeping people at the heart of every decision, turning insights into action, creating exceptional experiences, and building strong connections both in our communities and online.

“As a longtime member, I have admired MSUFCU’s commitment to customer service and brand-building,” Hansen said. “To now be part of the team behind those efforts is really special.”
