Recognized on March 8th each year, International Women’s Day celebrates innovative, entrepreneurial and inclusive women who pay it forward. In the fintech space, Contentworks Agency, a European financial services marketing firm based in Limassol, Cyprus, singles out leaders from across the globe.
Founded in 2017 by Creative Director Charlotte Day and Business Director Niki Nikolaou, each year the organization names women to watch in the fintech space.

Ghela Boskovich, founder of FemTechGlobal, was singled out for building a network dedicated to shaping inclusion and diversity in fintech and banking.
“She’s widely recognized for accelerating strategic innovation in finance and advocating women’s visibility in tech leadership,” Contentworks Agency noted of the London-based fintech visionary. “Follow her because Ghela champions the systemic changes needed to diversify finance, from executive floors to product design, and her insights help shape a more equitable future for fintech.”
Another Londoner and founder of Starling Bank, Anne Boden, also made the list. She is credited with creating the first UK bank designed and operated as a digital platform marking “a milestone in European fintech” and digital banking. “Follow her because her influence reflects how women executives are shaping capital markets and wealth strategies in LATAM,” Contentworks Agency noted.
Exemplifying the community-centric credit union model, Nelly Chatue-Diop, co-founder and CEO of the Littoral, Cameroon-based Ejara, was acknowledged for building a blockchain-based mobile investment platform that empowers users in Francophone Africa to access savings, investment and wealth tools. “Her work exemplifies innovation that lowers barriers to entry for investors in underserved communities,” Nikolaou and Day shared.
In New York City, Nicole Casperson, founder of Fintech Is Femme, was celebrated for her “prominent voice” advocating for women in fintech. “Through Fintech Is Femme, she amplifies under-represented voices and fosters community, panels, insights and visibility for women builders,” the organization noted. “Follow her because Nicole’s focus on visibility and empowerment helps shift industry culture, elevating women’s profiles and contributions in finance and fintech.”
NYC Has Lots to Celebrate
Casperson is in good company. Among Contentworks Agency’s rising stars in 2026 is New York City-based Laura Kornhauser who also made American Banker Top 20 Most Influential Women in Fintech’s list. “Laura has been recognized as a Women in FinTech Powerlist rising star, combining deep expertise in product and innovation with strong visibility across the industry,” Contentworks Agency stated. “Her leadership and rapid ascent in fintech strategy make her someone worth following. Follow her because she’s part of a new generation of fintech leaders influencing product direction, partnerships and growth strategies that will define the next era of financial products.”
Kornhauser is joined by fellow New Yorker Erin Levine, founder of Hello Divorce, which is innovating the divorce experience with technology and empathy. “Erin has been recognized as part of 'NYC FinTech Women’s Inspiring FinTech Founder' cohort, marking her as a creative leader who builds meaningful financial solutions and champions community-led change,” the organization noted, “Follow her because her entrepreneurial journey across fintech and financial wellness sectors exemplifies how cross-disciplinary leadership is reshaping finance.”
Yet another New Yorker, Katrin Kaurov, was noted as someone to watch. She is the co-founder and CEO at Frich, a Gen Z money platform solution. The social finance app was designed to blend community insights with budgeting and investment tools for younger users—a fast-growing niche often overlooked by traditional finance, the organization observed. “Follow her because her unique background and traction with Gen Z users show how financial tools tailored to new generations can drive greater inclusion and usage.”
