Exclusive partnership combines Filene-inspired innovation with one of the industry's most comprehensive credit union intelligence datasets
MADISON, Wis. — What began as a Filene i3 innovation project is evolving into a decision intelligence platform designed to help credit unions make smarter Fintech, technology, and strategic partner decisions.
IgniteFI today announced an exclusive partnership with FedFis that will integrate one of the industry's largest credit union and vendor intelligence datasets into FINNECT.
Under the agreement, IgniteFI will serve as the exclusive distributor of FedFis data within credit-union-facing technology platforms, bringing powerful new intelligence capabilities to FINNECT.
Together, the organizations are creating a centralized intelligence hub that brings greater transparency to the credit union Fintech ecosystem and helps credit unions evaluate opportunities, benchmark performance, and make more informed strategic decisions.
Rather than simply helping credit unions discover new solutions, FINNECT is designed to help leaders evaluate opportunities, benchmark against peers, and make more informed strategic decisions throughout the innovation lifecycle.
"FINNECT began as an idea developed through the Filene i3 program and has continued to evolve based on the needs of credit unions and Fintech partners," said Julie Esser, CEO and Founder of IgniteFI. "Credit unions don’t need more noise. They need better intelligence. The addition of FedFis data accelerates our vision of helping credit union leaders evaluate opportunities make more informed technology and strategic decisions."
The new capabilities within FINNECT will provide participating credit unions with access to:
• Peer benchmarking and financial performance analysis • Digital maturity assessments and competitive positioning insights • Vendor market intelligence, market share, and install-base visibility • Technology compatibility and integration intelligence • Vendor evaluation and selection support tools • Enhanced strategic planning and decision-support resources
FedFis' data assets include detailed credit union profiles, technology relationships, vendor intelligence, benchmarking inputs, digital maturity classifications, integration data, and market analytics. The integration will allow credit unions to access these insights through a single platform experience designed specifically for the credit union market.
"Credit unions are being asked to make increasingly complex technology decisions in a dynamic marketplace," said Bobby Button, Chief Revenue Officer at FedFis. "This partnership gives credit union leaders greater visibility into the market and access to actionable intelligence that supports strategic planning and partner selection."
The partnership establishes a long-term framework for expanding the intelligence and benchmarking capabilities available through FINNECT, helping credit unions make more informed strategic decisions.
Through FINNECT, IgniteFI and FedFis aim to help credit unions move beyond anecdotal decision-making by providing objective insights, peer comparisons, and greater visibility into the organizations, solutions, and trends shaping the future of financial services.
