Filene Research Institute Teams Up with Vertice AI to Launch Member Voice Segmentation Solution

ATLANTA, GA—March 26, 2024 – Filene Research Institute, the leading independent think tank of the credit union movement, has selected Vertice AI as its strategic technology partner to deliver their next generation Member Voice solution. This collaboration introduces an actionable solution to the critical challenge of realizing value from member data to better serve today’s consumers and grow credit unions’ market share. With Filene’s innovative new Member Voice segmentation model, credit unions can better understand their membership’s needs and motivations, improve strategies and product development, and enhance marketing and messaging.

Through this partnership, Filene will harness the advanced analytics and technology platform of Vertice AI to deliver the new Member Voice segmentation model. This innovative solution is tailored specifically for the credit union sector and designed to empower credit unions with the knowledge to serve their members in a more personalized and effective manner.

"We are incredibly excited to partner with Filene on this transformative project,” said Mitch Rutledge, CEO of Vertice AI. “The strategic value of the Member Voice solution cannot be overstated—it represents a significant leap forward in how credit unions can understand and connect with their members. At Vertice AI, we are proud to bring our cutting-edge technology to our partnership with Filene, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on credit unions."

The Member Voice solution comes at a critical time for the credit union industry. With credit unions lagging banks in consumer satisfaction for the fifth consecutive year, according to the American Consumer Satisfaction Index, the need for a nuanced understanding of member expectations and preferences has never been more pressing. Member Voice addresses this challenge head-on, utilizing responses from over 4,700 credit union members across the United States to create a segmentation model that brings clarity to the drivers of member engagement and provides a scalable and efficient solution to meeting member needs.

"Choosing Vertice AI as our partner for Member Voice was a decision driven by the strength of their platform and their proven expertise in leveraging data and predictive analytics,” said Christie Kimbell, Executive Vice President at Filene. “Their technology platform is the perfect complement to our research-driven approach, enabling us to deliver insights that credit unions can act on to dramatically enhance member satisfaction and engagement. This partnership underscores our commitment to innovation and our belief in the power of cooperation to effect real change."
