New Orleans, LA — CU Intersect, the premier cybersecurity and technology leadership conference for credit unions, will return to the Royal Sonesta New Orleans from January 25-27, 2027. Co-hosted by NCU-ISAO and Pure IT, the conference builds on the momentum of its January 2026 event, which marked the largest CU Intersect gathering to date.

Designed specifically for credit union executives, technology leaders, and security professionals, CU Intersect brings together industry experts and peers to explore the evolving intersection of resiliency, security, and technology. The conference is known for its education-first approach, practical insights, and collaborative environment.

“CU Intersect has become an essential forum for meaningful dialogue and shared learning within the credit union community,” said Brian Hinze, President and CEO of NCU-ISAO. “As cyber threats continue to evolve, credit unions need trusted spaces to collaborate, learn from one another, and strengthen the collective defense of our industry. We’re excited to bring that energy back to New Orleans in 2027.”

The 2026 conference set a new benchmark for CU Intersect, with record attendance and expanded programming, reinforcing the growing demand for practical, peer-driven cybersecurity education within the credit union movement.

“The energy at CU Intersect is unlike any other event we’re part of,” said Jack Smith, CEO and co-founder of Pure IT. “There’s a genuine sense of collaboration, where credit union leaders are openly sharing ideas, learning from one another, and pushing innovation forward together. We’re intentional about creating a space where credit unions can grow, ask hard questions, and walk away with knowledge they can actually apply.”

Located in the heart of New Orleans’ historic French Quarter, the Royal Sonesta New Orleans offers an iconic backdrop for the conference. Additional details regarding the CU Intersect 2027 agenda, speakers, and registration will be announced in the coming months.
