Coastal Credit Union Foundation Announces $300k in Grants for Q1 2026

RALEIGH, N.C. (May 14, 2026) – The Coastal Credit Union Foundation has awarded $310,500 to 20 nonprofits in North Carolina during its Q1 2026 grant cycle. This quarter’s grant recipients reflect a broad range of impact areas, including food security, financial education, workforce development, housing and community services, and youth and family support, all core priorities of the Foundation’s mission.
“Each year, the Foundation invests in programs that improve the lives of individuals and families, and the need continues to grow,” said Emily Nail, Executive Director of the Foundation. “In the first grant cycle of 2026 alone, nonprofit organizations submitted more than $800,000 in funding requests highlighting the significant challenges facing communities across the region.”
The Q1 grants represent the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to empowering nonprofit partners who are working every day to build stronger communities, and include:
