Carson Group Debuts New Business Insights Feature, Turning Advisor Data into Growth Insights

Omaha, Neb. — Oct. 19, 2026 — Carson Group, a leading wealth advisory firm with over $66 billion* in assets under management (AUM), today announced the latest evolution of its proprietary artificial intelligence-powered platform, Steve AI. Business insights within Steve analyze an advisor’s business to help them better understand performance, identify opportunities and make informed decisions with greater speed and confidence.
“True growth begins with understanding your business — what’s working, what’s changing and where opportunities exist,” said Dani Fava, chief strategy officer at Carson Group. “Advisors have access to more data than ever, but data alone doesn’t provide direction. By bringing together Carson’s scale, data and technology, we can help advisors turn that information into insight they can use to make better decisions and build stronger businesses.”
Business insights are built directly into Steve AI and powered by Steve’s data agent, which recognizes business-level questions and analyzes the data each advisor has permission to access. There’s no new dashboard to learn: advisors start with the question they want answered, dig deeper with follow-ups, and can turn recurring questions into “skills” or generate documents from the analysis. Where Steve has previously helped advisors prepare for individual clients and households, this widens the lens to their entire book of business.
The feature is possible because of work Carson has done for years, bringing business data together into one governed foundation instead of leaving it scattered across platforms. Because that foundation is built in-house rather than licensed from a vendor, Carson can connect data most firms keep siloed and extend capabilities like this directly into advisors’ existing workflow.
“The platform is evolving into an analyst that interprets Carson’s proprietary data, surfaces patterns and helps advisors ask better questions,” added Leanne Ball, SVP, data and analytics. “It is practical intelligence embedded into the way advisors already work, helping them make more informed decisions and create greater capacity for planning, growth and client relationships.”
Advisors can ask about net new assets, household activity, revenue and payouts, client retention and attrition, advisor performance and trends across their businesses. Questions could range from “What were my largest sources of net new assets this year?” to “Which households had the largest changes in assets?” or “What was our revenue per advisor for the most recent payout period?” From there, they can ask Steve to break the numbers down further, compare periods or explore what is driving a change.
Rather than spending time finding and assembling data, advisors can focus on what it means for their business and what to ask next. Steve checks each answer before surfacing it, flagging gaps instead of smoothing over them, so advisors can trust what they see. At no added cost, these capabilities augment advisor expertise by making Carson’s data more accessible and useful across every stage of work, from preparing for a client conversation to making strategic decisions about the practice.
