APL Federal Credit Union Chooses PSCU for Card Processing and Contact Center Support
St. Petersburg, Fla. — (April 13, 2023) — PSCU, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, today announced that APL Federal Credit Union (APL FCU) has chosen the CUSO to provide credit and debit card processing services and contact center support.
Formed in 1954 to serve the workforce of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, APL FCU has since grown to serve approximately 30,000 members who live, work, regularly conduct business or attend school in Howard County, Maryland. The credit union is committed to improving the financial lives of its members and making a positive impact in the community by supporting local charities and community civic, educational and human service organizations.
With assets totaling more than $630 million, APL FCU conducted a rigorous evaluation process to identify a solutions provider with the right portfolio of services and a shared focus on delivering exceptional member experiences. The credit union prioritized enhancing contact center interactions alongside industry-leading credit and debit card features and functionality. After carefully considering potential providers, APL FCU selected PSCU as its ideal partner.
