AmeriCU Credit Union Highlights Year of Progress at 76th Annual Meeting

ROME, NY – MARCH 16, 2026: On Monday, March 9, AmeriCU Credit Union hosted its 76th Annual Meeting, bringing together members both in person and through a live-stream event that allowed members to join virtually. Ron Belle, AmeriCU President and CEO, and Nick Fabrizio, Chairman of AmeriCU’s Board of Directors addressed the current membership on the credit union’s successes in 2025.
The Annual Meeting provided an opportunity to look back on a year of meaningful progress for AmeriCU Credit Union. Some of the year’s highlights included the celebration of AmeriCU’s 75th anniversary, the completion of the merger with Mountain Valley Federal Credit Union, and the addition of new branches in Fulton, North Utica, Peru, Keeseville, Wilmington, and AuSable Forks. Throughout 2025, the credit union also focused on improving digital banking tools, streamlining services, and introducing programs designed to support members through important financial milestones.

Through charitable giving, sponsorships, and volunteer efforts, AmeriCU Credit Union and the AmeriCU Charitable Foundation contributed more than $1.1 million to local initiatives and dedicated over 1,700 volunteer hours across 181 community events during the year.
