From World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development (March 4) to International Day of Mathematics / National Pi Day (March 14), March is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), among accomplishments in other fields.

Here is a rundown of other notable events slated for March 2026:
2026 Women’s History Month Summit. Held virtually and in person in New York City on March 4 at Luminary HQ, the fifth annual event features expert speakers, workshops, and networking for professional women and entrepreneurs.
On March 9, future leaders will be celebrated at the KID Museum Bethesda (Md.) Metro Center. The organization, founded and run by women, will honor the achievements of women in the STEM and Maker communities who are shaping the future through innovation and creativity. Makers are the DIY-ers who use tools like 3D printers and computer numerical control (CNC) machines for prototyping and project-based learning.
WEARETECHWOMEN’S virtual conference takes place on March 20. Now in it’s seventh year, the free event brings together thousands of women from around the world exploring emerging technologies, disruptive trends, and the human side of innovation.
March 24-26, 2026, FemTech Americas will hold its annual conference. The immersive three-day event is billed as bringing together the “FemTech” ecosystem to explore the innovations and technologies that are empowering women and transforming the industry.
While occurring May 12-15, 2026, registration for the Women in Tech Global Conference is currently open. Being held both virtually and in-person at satellite events in London, Berlin, Barcelona, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Toronto, the focus of the event is “Leading the Wave of Change with AI: 150,000 Women Empowering Innovation.” There will be more than 700 speakers from 179 countries participating.
