World Council member associations and credit unions are encouraged to apply
MADISON, Wis.—Nominations are open for World Council of Credit Unions’ (WOCCU) 2024 Digital Growth Award, which will recognize one or more member credit union associations or individual member credit unions for successfully working toward our Challenge 2025 goal of expanding digital transformation across the globe.
Nominees must show they have implemented a digital solution(s) that is:
Inclusive: It expanded financial inclusion by reaching members of underserved communities.
Innovative: It was groundbreaking for your organization by reducing costs, streamlining operations or improving member experience.
Scalable: It can be scaled up for use or replication by other credit union associations or credit unions in your country or region.
“We continue to be amazed each year by the number of innovative digital solutions our members and their credit unions are implementing to drive financial inclusion and build more resilient communities around the globe,” said WOCCU President and CEO Elissa McCarter LaBorde. “As we launch our fourth annual Digital Growth Award nominations, we encourage more applicants to demonstrate how they are leaning in to bring cutting edge financial solutions to more underserved populations.”
2024 nominations must be submitted by a World Council member association or a credit union affiliated with one of those associations by 5:00 p.m. (17:00) U.S. Central Standard Time on Friday, March 1.
An independent panel of judges comprised of digital financial experts in the credit union sector and beyond will evaluate all nominations and select the recipients.
Digital Growth Award recipients will receive one free registration to the 2024 World Credit Union Conference (WCUC) in Boston (USA), July 21-24. Award recipients will be announced and honored during WOCCU’s Annual General Meeting in Boston on Monday, July 22.
