Your Marketing Co. recognized this and decided to do something about it. When the credit union marketing agency started offering financial coaching as an employee benefit in January 2021, everyone on the team was feeling some pretty significant stress. However, after 15 months, no one reported “overwhelming stress” any longer and some even bumped up to reporting “no stress.”
“Given the anxieties we’ve all experienced in the last couple of years, we thought our personal financial situations was one area we could work on and help both our employees and Your Marketing Co.,” CEO Bo McDonald said. “It gave us a chance to work on something highly personal, private and stressful, but still do it as a team.”
Your Marketing Co. is proud of the results the team has earned, eliminating an aggregate $47,400 in debt and adding nearly $10,000 in savings collectively. The team members who would be able to pay for a $1,000 emergency with cash jumped from 33% to 83%, and all of those who had considered themselves “scared” or “confused” about their finances, which was nearly half, were no longer. Additionally, now 17% are budgeting consistently versus none before the program.
