Coastal Credit Union Hires Jim Campone as VP, Wealth Management

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 22, 2022 ) – Coastal Wealth Management, available through CFS*, has hired Jim Campone as VP, Wealth Management.  He will lead Coastal’s wealth management team in providing members with financial planning, investments, retirement, estate planning, trust and asset protection services.

Campone is an industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience, focusing on the successful growth and integration of investment services programs within financial institutions.  His experience includes working with trust and investment services, 401(k) and retirement plans, as well as life and property/casualty insurance.

He has worked collaboratively with credit union leadership nationwide to achieve optimal growth and efficiency by leveraging industry best practices and benchmarking to identify areas of growth and opportunity.  He has worked directly with executive leadership to provide strategic guidance in areas that include: business modeling and forecasting, integration of wealth management as a core service offering, staffing and compensation models, data mining and marketing, building collaborative partnerships, and coaching advisors for peak performance.

Campone is a graduate of Siena College, where he earned a BA in Political Science and Government.
