BankiFi Hires Danny Piangerelli as CTO of North America

-Former Malauzai Software and Sensibill CTO joins BankiFi to enhance technology-

Columbus, OHIO, Sept. 21, 2022 – BankiFi, a leading provider of embedded banking solutions, announced that is has hired Danny Piangerelli as its newest chief technology officer. As CTO, Piangerelli will oversee all aspects of technology development and create policies and procedures that utilize technology to enhance BankiFi’s solutions for the North American market.


Piangerelli has more than 25 years of experience in software engineering and has served in multiple high-level leadership positions. Piangerelli co-founded Malauzai Software in 2010 and served as its CTO until it was acquired by Finastra in 2018. Piangerelli then served as Chief Architect of Finastra’s North American community markets business, CTO for Sensibill and as a board advisor at ZSuite.

Piangerelli’s hiring comes after BankiFi’s North American expansion and its strategic growth funding. BankiFi recently launched its services in North America, adding to BankiFi’s markets alongside Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. BankiFi received a $4.8 million investment from previous stakeholders for its expansion into the U.S. and Canada.
